Our Great Tommy Sleep Out
This March, we'll be taking part in the Great Tommy Sleep Out, spending one night sleeping outside to raise money for homeless veterans. It isn't about recreating homelessness or pretending to understand what veterans face. Instead, it's an opportunity to raise vital funds and awareness for the 1 in 400 veterans who are homeless. Please sponsor us and support those who have served our country. Every donation will help Royal British Veterans Enterprise (RBVE) create opportunities for veterans by providing emergency accommodation, employment pathways, and supportive communities where they can rebuild their independence and move forward with purpose.
We're proud to be playing our part so that no veteran has to face their battles alone.

Phoenix Explorers and HRAD
Thursday 24thPhoenix Explorers will be sleeping out in emergency shelters and Bivouacs as well as fending for themselves for 2 nights in our woodland. The explorers will be creating their own shelters with basic materials (no tents) that they can find or scavenge to try to keep themselves warm and safe. This year we have invited Explorers from the rest of the district to join us.
This will also go towards their platinum and diamond awards, as well as their camping, nights away and survival skills badges.
We will be swapping our beds for sleeping bags to raise vital funds and awareness for veterans who are experiencing homelessness in the UK right now. With every penny raised, Royal British Legion Industries can provide safe, warm housing and ensure everyone has a fair opportunity to gain employment, regardless of health conditions or disability. Please help us to raise much-needed funds for this incredible
cause.
