Yes! Use your QR code to link straight to your fundraising page, access it by logging into your fundraising page, go to your dashboard, go to get support tab and there's a button 'QR CODE'.
Should I set up a Facebook Fundraiser?
We’ve created an official fundraising page for you through The Great Tommy Sleep Out.
When you share your fundraising page onto social media for friends and family to support you, Facebook may prompt you to set up a fundraiser through them too.
Facebook is an excellent way to fundraise. However, if you choose to set up a Facebook Fundraiser as well, we may not be able to directly match Facebook raised funds to your Sleep Out fundraising page, as these two pages are not connected. Facebook send us 100% of the funds that you raise every 60 days.
We love following your journey and celebrating your massive efforts alongside you, which is why we recommend that you use your official The Great Tommy Sleep Out fundraising page.
How can I find some resources to help with my fundraising?
Once you've made/received your first donation you'll receive your fundraising pack through the post within 10 working days. You can also find extra resources once you've logged in to your fundraising page.
When I fundraise online, do you automatically receive the money?
Yes, after you receive a donation you don't need to do anything, we'll automatically receive the funds.
Are my online donations secure?
Of course! We want to ensure that all our supporters can donate and sponsor online with complete confidence. RBVE uses the trusted Funraisin platform as its online fundraising provider for this website which secures your private information using a VeriSign SSL Certificate. Information exchanged with any address beginning with HTTPS is encrypted using SSL before transmission.
Why is my fundraising page not showing the correct total raised??
Offline banking like cash deposits, cheques & bank transfer donations can take up to 5 working days to show on your page. Remember to use your unique reference number to help us match the deposit to your registration.
If you have chosen to set up a Facebook Fundraiser, we may not be able to directly match Facebook raised funds to your Great Tommy Sleep Out fundraising page, as these two pages are not connected. Facebook send us 100% of the funds that you raise approximately every 60 days.
Are you a member of a team? Your donors can make contributions to your team, as well as directly to you. Check your team page – the contribution you’re looking for might have ended up there.
Has your employer matched your donations? Maybe you or your workmates have set up workplace giving through your employer or payroll administrator. These funds can take up to 90 days to be transferred to us. If you think this applies to you, let us know, and we’ll check through the paperwork.
Where can I find sponsorship forms?
The last two pages of the fundraising pack are your sponsorship forms. Sponsorship forms are also available to download from our online fundraising resources.
Can I get a collection pot?
Yes, this is available to buy on our Sleep Out shop here: QR Code/Link
Can my donation be anonymous?
You can request for your name to be hidden on the participant's online fundraising page. If you do, your name will appear as "Anonymous".
As you make your donation, you’ll be asked if you’d like to remain anonymous to the fundraiser.
Absolutely! When you reach the donation page, select "Make a business donation" and enter the Company name. Many businesses will match monies raised or donated by staff for challenges like The Great Tommy Sleep Out. Start by asking your manager, or if you have further questions, please contact us at sleepout@rbve.org.uk.
Can I donate to the whole team and not one person on the team?
Go to our donation page. Search for the team, or click the team name on a members profile.
When their name appears in the list, click the team name > arrive at their online fundraising page > click the donate button > complete the form with your credit card details. We’ll email you with a tax-deductible receipt. Your donation will contribute towards the team total without the donation going to any specific member of the team.

INFORMATION ABOUT RBVE
Who are RBVE?
Royal British Veterans Enterprise (RBVE) has been supporting veterans since 1919. We were RBLI for 50 years, but in 2025 we rebranded to better reflect what we do. We empower veterans to thrive in life after service by creating jobs, providing homes, and building communities.
Is RBVE linked to RBL/RNLI/any other charity?
RBVE is proudly independent. Since 1919, we have had our own governance and finances. We raise all of our funds through our own initiatives, from fundraising campaigns like The Great Tommy Sleep Out to retail through the RBVE shop. This is reinvested into our frontline services, including our social enterprise factories that employ veterans, and the homes and community facilities within our Veterans’ Village.
Who is Tommy?
“Tommy” refers to the nickname commonly used for British soldiers during World War I. It was a widely recognised term at the time and became a shorthand way of referring to any British infantryman. It has now become a central part of who we are. It is recognised as a symbol of respect and remembrance, proudly displayed across our work. While the silhouette shows a First World War soldier, it stands for all branches of the Armed Forces and the sacrifices made across every generation.
Are you affiliated with Tommy Robinson?
No. We are not affiliated in any way with Tommy Robinson.
Why is Billy Billingham involved in Sleep Out?
Billy Billingham visited RBVE and saw first-hand the difference we make for veterans. Since then, he has been a committed supporter of our mission. As a former SAS soldier and ambassador of our Tommy Club, Billy brings his experience, voice and profile to champion The Great Tommy Sleep Out, helping raise awareness and vital funds so we can continue providing housing, employment, and support for those who need it most. We’re proud to have him standing alongside us.
Did Billy charge a fee to RBVE for supporting The Great Tommy Sleep Out?
No. Billy’s support has come completely free. He backs RBVE and The Great Tommy Sleep Out because he believes in our mission to empower Britain’s bravest.
What is the money used for?
Every penny will be invested in RBVE’s mission to create jobs, provide homes, and build communities for veterans.
You'll be supporting projects like our Centenary Village, which is due for completion in Spring 2027, delivering 100 new homes for veterans and their families. You'll also support our emergency accommodation, supporting homeless veterans, employment courses and welfare support.
Do you only help British veterans?
We support British Armed Forces veterans of all ages, ranks, and backgrounds. This includes Gurkhas and Commonwealth personnel who served under the British Armed Forces.
WELFARE
I am/my friend is a homeless veteran, where can I get help?
Please get in touch with our team at RBVE by completing this form, if we cannot help you, we will be able to sign post you to an organisation that can.

SPONSORS
Paula Ray, Director of Fundraising at RBVE, said: “I am so grateful to Billy Billingham, BAE Systems, and Barratt Redrow for standing with us again this year. All three are incredible supporters of The Great Tommy Sleep Out , and having that continued commitment it what allows this campaign to keep growing to support our work in helping to change veterans’ lives. David Thomas, CEO of Barratt Redrow, commented: “Barratt Redrow is proud to sponsor The Great Tommy Sleep Out for the third year. We believe the entire housebuilding sector can play a vital role in reducing veteran homelessness, and we’re excited to continue supporting this important cause.”
